Arnis - harness; northern philippine martial art

Buklis - upward figure 8
Contra - counter
Sinawalli - to weave; a continuous double stick technique
Redondo - circular power strike
Daga - dagger or short stick
Corto - close range
Eskrima - "skirmish"; filipino martial art
Espada - sword or long stick
Espada y Daga - sword & dagger or long & short stick
Kali - a southern Philippine martial art
Largo - long
Largo Mano - long range
Olisi - Stick
Ordabis - Backhand strike
Kilat - "Lightning Blow"
Palisut - to scoop
Panastas - to slash
Punyo - butt of stick
Sagasa - to charge or to overrun
Sibat - staff
Wetik - wrist snap strike

Higot (Tie) Hubad (Untie) Lubad (Blend)

Hawak-Pakal - reverse or ice-pick grip
Hawak-Saksak - regular or hammer grip
Garote - Flat Stick
Guro - Teacher
Doble - double
Dumog - filipino grappling art
Eskrimador - stick fighter
Entrada - entry
Pangamot - empty-hand defense
Cinco Teros - "5 strikes"
Crossada - to cross
Djuru - form
Contrada - opposite or counter
 

Kali

"Kamut Lihok" translates to hand or body motion. Term Used generally to refer to arts of the southern Philippines, now mostly used outside of the Philippines.

Eskrima

Translates to "Skirmish". The term Eskrima is native to the central Philippines. 

Arnis

Translates to "Harness". The term Arnis is native to the northern Philippines.

Silat & Kuntao

Empty hand areas of the Philippine, Malaysian and Indonesian martial arts.  Silat has hundreds of different systems, and has been influenced by various cultures (Chinese, Muslim, Hindu, Dutch, etc).
